I am a Senior Java Developer with over 15 years of experience building and modernising enterprise-scale systems in finance, retail, and telecommunications. I specialise in backend development, distributed systems, and API-driven architectures, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and clean design. I also have a strong background in quality assurance, which allows me to design systems with testability and robustness in mind.
Currently, I work as a Senior Java Developer at Weigandt Consulting, where I contribute to Tesco’s Customer Engagement Centre (OneCEC) - a large-scale internal platform used by thousands of colleagues to handle customer requests efficiently. My responsibilities include designing and developing backend services, integrating with multiple internal APIs, and supporting high-throughput, business-critical workflows using modern Java and reactive technologies.
Previously, I worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sberbank, one of Europe’s largest financial institutions, where I helped migrate legacy payment flows to a modern microservices architecture in Sberbank Online. I played a key role in implementing core autopayment functionality and REST services within an agile, cross-platform team.
Earlier in my career, I led and architected enterprise content management solutions for major organisations such as Vimpelcom, Rostelecom, and other large enterprises. In these roles I was delivering workflow automation, document management systems, and business-critical integrations.
I hold multiple Java certifications, as well as advanced ISTQB testing certifications. A full list of my certificates can be found in my Hall of Fame. I earned my degree from Ural State Technical University and have worked across a wide range of industries, consistently delivering scalable, maintainable, and business-focused solutions.
